So the weekend BEGINS!  My computer desk is actually looking much better after the last two hours of paying bills, balancing a very thin checkbook, and filing the mountain of a pile of paperwork that's been building up.  If you watch me on Facebook, you'll know that I've requested a maid.  tee hee  But this is what I see every morning when I check emails, FB and my favorite blogs.  Now that this picture is posted, the camera can get charged back up for a weekend of crafting.
     Maybe you can see in the picture all the journals I've done over in the wicker basket and on the side cabinet.  Bill's antique clock has sat in that very position for over 10 years on this desk, but he never winds it, so ignore the time it's telling because it's way earlier than that.  :)  .....a calendar, my Bible, an extra ethernet cord (we don't have wi-fi), an old pair of glasses that are at least 10 years old (for emergencies) and of course my coffee - what more could a gal want?  Oh, I KNOW!  I want two days of blissful crafting, sewing, knitting or crocheting!  
     The checkbook shook it's gnarly head at me today and said NO to the Shark floor steamer we so need.  But another time, right?  God gave me hands and knees to use, so we'll see if I can use Bill's.  HA!!!!!!
The camera is now going to go get charged, and it's time to put on my weekend uniform (fat pants and sweatshirt) and get this MADNESS party started!  Keep watching - it could be a lot of fun.

Day #3 in my March Madness was just that!!!  Crazy, wacky, madness!!!  And I adored every minute of it.  There wasn't one item in my crafting line-up that got touched, but wowzers the day was full.

I'll settle for the great meeting that started off the day, then meeting up with my daughter and her 2 year old youngest boy, getting to work early and honestly working my tail off!  Wish we could do that literally, but hey, such is life.  :)  Now that I'm home, it's time to spend a little time with the man and watch American Idol.  Yes, we're hooked.

But tomorrow is Day #4 plus it's FRIDAY!  That will put a little more spring in my crafty step for sure.  Keep watching over the weekend as I hope to fill up the weekend with photos, works in progress, ideas, and just a lot of MARCH MADNESS!!  

I'm SO excited to wake up this morning and get things rolling!  Get my normal routine going by letting the dogs out, read the fun stuff that came on the Blackberry overnight and made the coffee.  HAVE to make the coffee.  I knew we were running low so picked up another can this last weekend, but really folks......... how can I possibly throw this huge plastic container away?  Isn't there something that can be made from this?  It's big, it's sturdy, it's got a gripper handle, and it smells like coffee!  If Bill sees it in the trash,  he will pull it back out again and ask me if I'm sure this should be thrown away, and I'll hear "Can't you MAKE something out of this?" So help me out here - I could use some brilliant ideas from you all. You can either post it here on the blog, or use the contact form.

As I mentioned earlier, I went through my Blackberry to get up to speed on all the happenings that go on while we sleep.  There are many thank you's that are going out with this post today.  Wonderful feedback on the new site, an actual sale from the journal store....... all sorts of good stuff.

Here is a screen shot of me working on this site.  I can't tell you how user friendly this place is compared to the others I've tried and used.  For me to be able to sit and with 4 total hours of work have it up and working the way we wanted, is a total blessing!

And PLEASE help me figure out something to do with that plastic Folgers container so I don't have to wrap it in a rug and put it in the trunk of my car!!  :)

If you've followed me over here to the new site - WELCOME!!!  I think we'll enjoy ourselves over here as it's looking like more of a complete area for me to expound on my life as I know it.

Yes, it will begin the REAL March Madness in my creative life in just a few short hours.  This is where I will try and post something every day in March about what's happening in the sewing room, on the knitting couch, or on the crochet chair or even atop the paper stool.  Speaking of the paper stool, I decoupaged black and white family pictures (photocopied) onto the top of my two crafting stools - so yes, in essence I keep family close.  :)

Today I finished the baby fleece blanket with crocheted edging.  Had that done before I went to work.  So technically I cannot add that to my March Hare Madness, but it's a good start anyways.  

This picture shows that it IS complete, and with only a few yards left of the baby yarn!!  How did THAT work out anyway?  I was sweating it near the end, but something just kept me rolling and it worked.  Perfectly.  And yes, that's my Blackberry back there lit up.  I just wanted to show that I had a message waiting there for me since I'm so popular and stuff.  HA!  But that little guy goes with me everywhere, and yes, I mean everywhere.

As I sit here, indulging myself working on this new Weebly deal, my dear husband and resident chef brings my dinner into the computer room knowing I'm on a mission.  He serves up the best looking poor boy fish sandwich and is it every tasty.  He's so good to me.  And the poor man is also sitting watching "Antique's Roadshow" without me tonight.  And I adore that show, but really, I have to be ready for the Madness that is to ensue shortly.

So let's get our CRAZY on and make March just a ton of fun!
